Maxi dresses, linen pants, sky-high wedges and neon capris are counted among Summer favorites for fashion aficionados. The versatile, chic and sophisticated jumpsuit/romper trend also top that list of Summer favorites. Although the term jumpsuit and romper are used interchangeably many times, there is a slight difference between the two. Jumpsuits and rompers are both one-piece garments, but the romper is a shorter version of the jumpsuit. Jumpsuits feature longer inseams and often times, longer arm lengths as well. Below are some of our favorite picks:

Lightly Faded Denim Jumpsuit; $29.80; forever21.com
Two-Tone Button Up Jumpsuit; $32.80; forever21.com
The longer inseams characterizing jumpsuits is probably the last thing anyone would want to think about during summer’s temperatures. During the summer, it’s best to keep fabrics light and airy (think silk chiffon or linen). Heavier fabrics like denim may be to your benefit if the denim is of a lighter weight, such as the one featured above, made of 100% cotton. Pair your favorite printed, classic or bohemian jumpsuit with wedges, gladiator sandals or even flats, for an office-appropriate look.
The Romper

Rompers are the perfect complement to summer ensembles! Its ease in wear as well as its comfort makes it a first-choice pick for many fashion aficionados. Depending on your personality, you can go for printed ones for a fun and playful look, while a more classic cut and monochromatic color exudes a more refined summer look. Again, light, airy fabrics are your go-to for any summer ensemble, and rompers are available in all types. Incorporate bright, summer colors (such as peach and teal, featured above) for a fresh, clean-cut look!
